The death of Miss Gardiner (1789) is painting by Italian-English artist Maria Cosway. The painting is one of her few works signed and dated known to survive, and it is among her finest paintings. Nowadays, the painting is part of the collection of the Musée de la Révolution Française, a departmental museum within the Château de Vizille.
