3 women artists you should follow on Instagram

One thing really amazing about living in 21th century is that we can find very easily everything that we like or that inspires us. If you are an art lover, as much as myself, you have noted that Instagram is an incredible tool that helps to find new great artists. I myself follow several very talented artists on Instagram (men and women); and today I will share with you 3 of my favourite women artists of Instagram.

1) Vanessa Mae

She is a self-taught artist from Australia and with background in architecture. She defines her style as semi-abstract, abstract and in some cases verging on impressionism (especially in the way that makes the viewers feel inside the picture at the same time they are external observers). She says that find her inspiration in personal experiences, memories and impressions from the ever-changing environment around her.

  2) Melissa McCracken

Melissa is an American artist with a unique ability to see colours in the sounds she hears, many of her paintings incorporate vibrant colours and even lively textures to depict the movement of music. Through her work, she tries to allow a refreshing experience of the familiar. In her own words, she paints music.

3) Alyssa Monks

Alyssa is an American artist that began oil painting as a child. She has a very personal style, her paintings are usually immersed in water, humidity or steam, which in my opinion makes them so magical. It instantly takes the viewer into that space making them feel it as personal. She is my favourite.
