David and Goliath by Artemisia Gentileschi

Who never has listened about the history of David, a little shepherd who slayed the giant Goliath? I am pretty sure that most of you when think about it, have in your minds the image of Michelangelo’s masterpiece. It has been a common subject in the world of arts, it is present in the literature, painting, sculpture, theatre, music, cinema, and television. And very recently (in 2020), a painting on this theme was attributed to Artemisia Gentileschi.
